Meet Betsy
Meet Betsy
In March 2006, I started attending Group Dance Fitness classes. As I continued to attend classes, the blend of exercise and dance strengthened my body, mind, and spirit. I began teaching Group Fitness in January 2009. At my Fitness classes, I desire for people to have fun, let go, and be themselves, as they open their hearts to the One who first gave them Life and Breath.
Betsy Dean is a Certified AFAA Group Exercise Instructor (www.afaa.com) and NASM Senior Fitness Specialist (www.nasm.org).

Our Mission
Our Mission
Our Mission at Betsy Dean Dancing is based on the words of Jesus in Mark 12:29-31. First, we are called to love God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strength. Second, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. In the Bible, God defines love as selfless, constant, and committed. We endeavor to live this out by focusing on the four areas listed below. We are a Fitness Community, and both Betsy and her husband, Tony, are thankful to do life with each person.
Building – Community, Faith, and Fitness
Developing – Physically, Spiritually, Emotionally, Mentally, Relationally
Deepening – Our relationships with Jesus and one another
Declaring – Truth from the Bible into lives for transformation
Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: ‘Listen, O Israel! The Lord our God is the one and only Lord.
And you must love the Lord your God with
all your heart,
all your soul,
all your mind,
and all your strength.'
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'
No other commandment is greater than these.”
(Mark 12:29-31, NLT)
